How Do I Get My Credit Reports From The 3 Major Credit Bureaus?
The (FCRA) states that you are entitled to receive a disclosure directly from the consumer credit reporting agency free of charge, if:
 You certify in writing that you are unemployed and intend to apply for employment within 60 days, or
You are receiving public welfare assistance, or
You have reason to believe your consumer file contains inaccurate information due to fraud, or
You have been denied credit, insurance, or employment within the past 60 days
You may request your credit report from the below following bureaus & if you don't qualify for a free report with the above qualifications, they are only $8 per credit bureau:

www.annualcreditreport.com or if you don't have a home computer, but need to dash off to the library or a friends house to get the form & print off one so that you can mail it off - CLICK HERE! I recommend print two or three off in case you make a mistake while filling it out! You will have to fill the form out off-line!
Your credit reports will be mailed to you within 15 days suppossedly - I've seen it take longer. Please include some identifying information with the credit application, because Equifax is very strict. They want to know (that you are who you say you are) before they'll release anything. The credit report is FREE, but if you want a credit score along with them they are $7.97 per credit bureau at the time of this printing. The identification you need to send is a copy of your social security card, I.D. or drivers license, & a copy of your utillity bill with your current name & address on it if you have one - if not it's ok. The disadvantage is that it's the slow route to take, period!!!
